Supporting Parental Leave

Ceridian supports all employees who are starting or growing their families with our Parental Leave program. The program is designed to support the caregiver, whether they become a new parent by birth, adoption, or through foster care placement. Primary Caregivers (in most cases mothers) are provided with 100% of their base salary for up to a total of 14 consecutive weeks after the birth or adoption of a child. As part of our commitment to working mothers, our major facilities have dedicated parents’ rooms with comfortable, spacious seating, refrigerators to store milk, and a relaxing atmosphere. We also provide expectant mothers with designated parking spaces.

We are proud to offer a Lactation Service to our employees and their spouses. Our Lactation Service includes a new parent resource kit, a special offer for a breast pump (employee copay and Ceridian subsidy applies, depending on chosen pump), and six months of lactation support by a certified lactation consultant. 

For adoptive parents, we offer Ceridian’s Adoption Benefit which reimburses a portion of the expenses incurred, paying 100% of all eligible expenses up to a maximum of $5,000 per child. Eligible expenses include legal and court fees, agency fees, transportation, and medical fees. We then encourage all new parents to take advantage of our flexible workplace by embracing adjusted schedules and shortened work weeks to ease back into work.
